2211: Learning to Just Be!

There’s a kind of wonder in life that doesn’t come with fireworks. It’s quieter, sneakier, and often hiding in plain sight. I spent so much time chasing the big stuff – the wins, the milestones, the applause – only to realise the best moments were the ones where I just let life be.
Like sitting at home in my comfiest T-shirt, doing absolutely nothing. Not even pretending to be productive. Just me, my thoughts, and maybe a snack (or three). It’s in those moments that life feels... enough. No rush, no noise – just the calm of existing without expectations.

Funny how the things that make you the happiest are the ones you never see coming, right? A lazy afternoon, a random laugh, or the realisation that peace isn’t found in the “next big thing” – it’s right here, in the tiniest, simplest bits of life.
Maybe it’s my Scorpio-Sagittarius blend – all fiery passion and spontaneous adventure – that used to make me think happiness had to be an event. But as I’ve grown, I’ve learned to find it in the pauses. The balance between wanting to conquer the world and being perfectly happy binge-watching the same series for the tenth time.
Today, as I celebrate another trip around the sun, I’m embracing the beauty of it all – the messy, the unexpected, and the beautifully simple. Life isn’t perfect, and neither am I, but that’s where all the fun is.
Here’s to another year – to laughing a little more, worrying a little less, and finding joy in the tiniest, quirkiest corners of life. To being good, being at peace, and (hopefully) being better!
